All members, visitors, and guests who enter the property are responsible to have read and agreed to the terms and conditions before arrival. All members and visitors who enter the property therefore agree to abide by, and are held accountable to, the following terms and conditions.
Terms & Conditions
Membership:

Definition of “members”: Individuals of the same household who have completed the registration process and paid for a seasonal campsite rental.

Process to gain membership: Schedule a guided tour, choose a campsite, fill out the registration package, agree to the terms and conditions, pay the registration fee(s).

Definition of “visitors”: Guests who have been invited to the campground by a registered member. Visitors include family members who do not reside in the same home, friends, acquaintances, and so forth. Must be registered and have agreed to the campground terms and conditions before arriving at the property.
Site Reservations:

Completion of the Registration Package and payment in full is required to fulfill a site reservation.

Site reservations are the one-year seasonal reservation of one campsite for:
-
One RV or camping unit
-
One transportation vehicle
-
Maximum of two adults and their children (must be living in the same household)
-
Maximum of two pets
-
-
Members must have off-site residences.
-
All household members, pets, and vehicles must be registered.
-
Sites are reserved for one year. To reserve the same site for the next year, the registration update and payment must be paid before original site reservation expires.

Necessary keys and codes will be provided for members after the registration process is complete. It is not permitted to share the code or key(s) with any visitors or non-members.
Policies:

Refunds:

All payments are non-refundable.
-
There are no exceptions to the refund policy.
-
Cancellations will not be refunded.
-
Members and visitors who violate the terms and conditions, fail to adhere to the rules and guidelines, or who engage in disruptive behavior will be evicted. Registered members and visitors who are asked to leave are not entitled to a refund; they forfeit all membership benefits and all money paid.

Visitors:
-
Registration is required for all visitors and their vehicles.
-
All visitors must register, agree to the terms and conditions, and pay the visitors fee(s) before arriving on the property. Unregistered visitors who have not paid are trespassing and will not be permitted entry.

Daytime visitors are welcome on the property between 9am and 10pm.
-
Overnight visitors may camp in a temporary site for up to 7 nights.
-
Members are financially responsible and liable for their visitors.
-
Members are not permitted to share key(s) and access codes with guests. Members are responsible for personally opening the campground gate for their visitors.
-
Members must be on site when visitors are on the property: visitors may not use the campsite or property if the inviting member is not present.
-
Members are responsible for the actions of their guests and agree to ensure their visitors accept and adhere to the campground terms.

Members who do not ensure that their visitors have been registered, paid their visitation fees, and are following campground regulations are in violation of the campground terms and conditions.

Any visitor who violates the terms and conditions, or whose negative behavior disrupts others will be asked to leave and prohibited from returning to the campground. Registered visitors who are evicted not entitled to a refund and forfeit all money paid.

Pets:
-
Pets must be declared during registration and/or be registered before entering the property. This includes disclosing the breed, gender, color, and name of the pet.
-
Pets must be well-behaved, and their conduct must not disturb or inconvenience other campground guests.
-
Owners are responsible to ensure their pet is following all local and provincial requirements including necessary vaccinations. It is preferable for all attending pets to be spayed or neutered.

Members are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and disposing of their waste properly.
-
Dogs must remain on a leash while at the campground and must be tethered or otherwise contained while at the campsite. Off-leash and free-roaming pets are not permitted.

Pets must not be left unattended.
-
Pets must be brought inside with their owners at night to guarantee their safety and ensure that they don’t disturb other campers.
-
Members are responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries caused by their pet.
-
Members indemnify and hold harmless the campground, its owners, and its operators from all liability and damage suffered because of their pet.
-
Any pet whose presence or negative behavior disrupts others will be prohibited from returning to the campground. This includes excessive barking, aggression toward people or other pets, frequent barking during quiet hours, violating off-leash rules, etc. Warnings will be provided for minor issues, serious and/or repeated issues will not be tolerated.

Speed limit:

Noise:

Quiet time is from 10pm to 8am on weekdays and 11pm to 8am on weekends.
-
Respect others by keeping noise to a reasonable level at all times.
-
Ensure that activities and use of recreational vehicles, generators, lights, and music do not unduly disturb others, especially during quiet hours.
-

Campsites:
-
Members are welcome to decorate their campsites and set up temporary structures.
-
All vehicles, structures, and decorations, pet tethers, etc. must be contained within the campsite limits.
-
It is not permitted to cut or damage any vegetations or trees nor make permanent changes to the site or surrounding areas without permission from the owner or manager.
-
Please ensure your use of the campsite space is respectful and does not cause conflict or discomfort for others.
-
Campsites are dry; they do not have electrical, water, or waste hookups.
-
It is not permissible to drain any RV tanks on the property or surrounding areas.
-
Guests are responsible for the safety and security of their belongings.
-
Guests indemnify and hold harmless the campground, its owners, and its operators from all liability, theft, and/or damage to property left at the campground.

Garbage:
-
Properly dispose of all garbage including cigarette butts.
-
Pack out what you pack in; waste disposal is unavailable.
-

Campfires:
-
Guests are responsible for following B.C.’s fire ban and campfire restrictions.
-
All campfires must be under control and contained within a metal firepit with a metal or concrete platform underneath.
-
Bonfires and large fires are not permitted.
-
Do not leave campfires unattended or light campfires when there are strong winds.
-
Ensure fires are properly extinguished and make sure campfire bed is cool to the touch when finished.
-
While campfire is lit, it is recommended to keep eight litres of water and hand tools close by.
-

Members are responsible for bringing their own firewood and tools.
-
It is not permissible to cut any trees or bushes on the property or surrounding area to use as firewood.
-

Water Taps:
-
A backflow prevention device is required when temporarily connecting an RV to the campground water system.
-
Campground water supply is available seasonally as weather conditions permit.
-
It is recommended to boil tap water before use or consumption.
-
-
Cleanliness:
-
Please clean up after yourselves and leave the outhouses clean for other campers to use.
-
-
Campground Property:
-
Please ensure that you are using only designated campground roads and pathways. All driveways, and paths that lead up towards buildings and houses are private and not intended for use by campers. All buildings are private. Trespassing on private property will not be tolerated.

Anyone defacing or abusing equipment of facilities belonging to the campground will be asked to leave the premises. Members will be responsible for the pay for any and all damages to any property, buildings, belongings, etc. caused by themselves, their children, or their visitors.

Recreation:
-
Please practice safe, respectful, and ethical riding when using recreational vehicles, such as ATV’s and bicycles.
-
Keep to designated trails and roads to protect the surrounding ecosystem.
-
Do not discharge firearms, bows, crossbows, etc. on or near the property. Follow local and provincial legislation guidelines.
-

Waterfront:
-
There is no lifeguard on duty, swim at your own risk.
-
Life jackets are recommended for all water activities.
-
Children must be supervised at all times.
-
Nudity is prohibited.
-
Please do not store or leave personal items unattended at the waterfront. This allows for everyone to access to enjoy the view and the beach.

Watercrafts:
-
Electric motors and human-powered boats are permitted.
-
Internal combustion engines are prohibited.
-
Please do not leave your boats on or near the beach; they can be stored near the boat launch area or off to the side, away from the beach.
-
Blue Lake is not responsible for theft or improper use of boats which are used or stored on or near the property.

Supplies:
-
Blue Lake Campground does not supply boats, paddles, lifejackets, firewood, or any other camping or recreational supplies. Guests are responsible for bringing everything they need for and during their stay.

Health & Wellbeing:
-
Guests will abide by health guidelines as directed by the applicable health authorities.
-

Wildlife:
-
There are many species of wildlife available to observe on and near the property.
-
Please do not feed, catch, pet, disturb, chase, harm, or contain wildlife.
-
Fishing is permitted at Blue Lake. Please follow all local and provincial regulations as well as licensing requirements.

This property is privately owned. Management reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone. Fees are for the use of the assigned sites and campground facilities for vacation purposes only. The campground and all representatives assume no responsibility for loss through fire, theft, collision, flood, act of God, or otherwise to any vehicle, recreational vehicle, tent, or other belongings, whether due to negligence or other factors. Use of the Campground and any adjacent privately owned lands for yourself, your family, your visitors, or any other attendees is solely at your own risk and peril and subject to the campground rule, receipt of a true copy which is hereby acknowledged. Blue Lake Campground and its employees, agents, volunteers, or representatives shall be saved harmless from any claims whether in contract or tort, by or on behalf of all those admitted to the Campground pursuant to this agreement. All fees and taxes levied against the RV, its attendees, the site, or additional usages or charges shall be paid in full upon registration. The signatory, as signed on the registration form, represents and warrants that he/she is responsible for and is signing on behalf of his/her family, party, visitors, and any other person accessing the Campground or other with his/her permission or knowledge. Any violation of this agreement, the determination of which shall be at the sole discretion of the Campground operator, shall result in termination of this agreement, Upon termination, the user, his/her family and guests shall be deemed trespassers under the TRESPASS ACT Statute of British Columbia, and the operator is hereby appointed their respective agent for disconnecting services and removal of the agreement inclusive of this Campground and adjacent properties as well as any usage fees are required prior to the use of the Campground by any party. The Campground is seasonal therefore usage is seasonal. Any vehicles left after that time are subject to storage fees to be paid in advance or may be seized under the warehouse lien act. All guests are owners must ensure their properties are fully and adequately insured at all times. Subletting of sites is prohibited.
